LYRA trading rewards are ending on May 8, with the migration to LDX and launch of new trading incentives
The Ecosystem Incentives Program introduces trading rewards for market takers based on fees paid - 150,000,000 LYRA tokens will be distributed over 96 weekly epochs.
*15% of the rewards can be used for Growth Experiments.
How do trading rewards work?
Weekly Rewards
Each epoch lasts one week and has a predetermined amount of rewards allocated (for an overview, see the ''Rewards Schedule'' below).
Generate Fees
Users can compete for a share of the weekly allocated rewards by generating fees while trading options and perpetuals across the available markets on the Lyra protocol.
Pro-Rata Percentage
At the end of each epoch, users earn a pro-rata percentage of the allocated rewards based on their total fees paid throughout the week.
Reward Distribution
The earned rewards are distributed to users in the form of LYRA on the Lyra Chain after the conclusion of an epoch.
*All rewards earned during the first 12 epochs (''Launch Season'') are distributed on May 1st, 2024, at 00:00 UTC.
Claiming Rewards
Users can claim their earned rewards on the Rewards page of the Lyra interface once they have been distributed.
*This means that rewards cannot be claimed on a weekly basis until after epoch 12 (see the ''Reward Distribution'' above).
